Fall Crochet Headbands

Don’t you just love a quick and easy fall crochet project! I know I’ve said it before I really do love this time of year! Here’s a great crochet project to get you in the mood for fall. Plus, it’s quick and easy to make.

#4 Worsted Weight Yarn – I used Caron Simply Soft

J/6.00mm hook

Yarn Needle

sc – single crochet

dc – double crochet

ch – chain

st – stitich

sl st – slip stitch

Pattern Notes:

Chain does not count as a stitch

This pattern is written in US terms

ch 10

Row 1: dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in each st across, turn (8)

Row 2: ch 1, sc in each st across (8)

Row 3: ch 2, dc in each st across (8)

Repeat Row 2 & 3 until you reach your desired length. Use yarn tail to join. Finish.

These are the total number of rows that I made to reach the desired sizes for my children and myself.

Toddler- 36 rows

Small Child – 38 rows

Me – 44 rows

I used this pattern to make the pumpkin applique. In order to make an apple, I simply used red yarn instead of orange, but I used the exact same pattern.

You could also use my sunflower applique free pattern to create another adorable fall headband. The possibilities are endless!!

I can’t wait to see the gorgeous headbands you create! I’d love for you to share them with me. Don’t forget to tag @katiebugdesign or use hashtag #katiebugdesign.
