Baby blankets are one of my favorite things to crochet and I enjoy trying new and different patterns. So I knew when I saw this cute shell stitch blanket from Amy over at The Stitchin Mommy I knew that I had to give it a try for my sweet cousin-in-law.
Her nursery colors are yellow and grey (LOVE this combination) so I decided to incorporate them into the beautiful baby blanket and I am so excited by how the blanket turned out!
You can find the free pattern here.
Now, I did not put a border on my blanket and I adjusted the size of the color stripes in mine, but her pattern is really easy to follow. I love to customize my baby blankets to make them even more special for the person I am giving them to. There are just so many colors and combinations to choose from. It really gets my creative juices flowin’!!
I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
